Who you will see

Dr. K. B. Singh, stethoscope round his neck, in his consultation room with the herb shelves behind him.

Dr. K. B. Singh

Ayurvedic practitioner

He is the Director of the practice and trained at Ahinsa Ayurvedic Medical College. In a consultation he does every part of it himself: he listens, reads your pulse at the wrist by hand, takes your blood pressure at the desk, writes the notes on paper, and explains what he found. Then, if you come for it, he teaches the yoga too.

There is no front desk, no triage, and nobody to be passed along to. For a lot of people that is the entire appeal; for some it is a reason to go somewhere bigger, and that is a reasonable choice.

Training and practice.

Where this says being confirmed, we have not been able to verify it from a source we trust, and we would rather leave the line open than fill it with something that sounds right.

Where it happens

It is a consultation room, in a house.

We would rather you knew that now than worked it out from a photograph. It is a room with a wooden desk, two chairs, shelves of labelled herb containers, and blinds that let in a lot of Texas daylight. There is no waiting area, because you are the only appointment in the room.

The practical consequence is that you get the whole of someone’s attention, and the practical cost is that you cannot walk in. The address is confirmed when you book.

The room, mid-consultation. Blood pressure by hand, at the desk, on every visit.

Sit down opposite him and see what he makes of it.

The first pulse reading is free. Tell us what has been going on, or call (713) 449-5265 and speak to the practice directly.
